The successful applicant will take a lead role in core systems development, projects and business intelligence, providing cover for the team manager over a range of work areas. This will include systems configuration, associated statutory returns and inspection preparation.
We are looking for a dedicated, personable individual to work closely with the operational leads, system providers and corporate ICT colleagues to deliver successful outcomes to support the aims of the department.
The qualities of the successful applicant will include: –
- Ability to build good working relationships with stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with experience of delivering successful project outcomes.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to meet targets within prescribed timescales.
- Established and proficient ICT Skills
- Ability to guide and influence employees and managers at a senior level.
The role provides a varied and challenging development opportunity working across a wider team. As well as technical skills, candidates should be enthusiastic and customer focused, possess effective problem solving abilities and the ability to manage projects.
The successful candidate will need to be flexible in the areas of work they cover and will ideally have experience of working in Children’s Services and an understanding of how recording systems support operational delivery and good practice in recording information about the Children and Families we work with.
The purpose of the Information and ICT service is to support operational services to deliver the best possible outcomes for children and young people in Derbyshire through the provision of integrated and focussed information and ICT services.
