Senior Learning Officer, TPP RECRUITMENT

An independent body which promotes public confidence in free and fair elections are now looking for a Senior Learning Officer to join a friendly, hard working team on an interim 7-9 month contract.

Joining a growing team of 6, you will have access to work collaboratively in the central London office. While staff are currently working in the office one day a week, this may increase to two days in future.

As Senior Learning Officer, you will implement the organisation’s learning strategy by developing and rolling out educational products and projects on the democratic process that engage young people and other groups of under-registered voters.

A large focus in this role will be around community engagement, including working with national organisations with local reach, to support and educate under-registered groups of voters to gain the confidence to vote in elections. By forming partnerships with local councils, charities and other organisations who engage with voters, you’ll co-create a range of resources and work to raise awareness about democracy from voter registration to voting options and rights. You will also encourage schools throughout the UK to use existing political literacy education resources, designed to give young people confidence to participate.

To be considered for this role, you will have substantial experience of managing education and learning projects that involve complex stakeholder partnerships. You will ideally have experience managing community engagement projects and will be an excellent communicator and relationship builder.
