Are you a passionate fundraising manager with experience of multi-channel Individual Giving activity?

Have you been driven by ambitious results in previous roles?

Would you enjoy developing and motivating a team?

Do you like the brighter side of Individual Giving?

If the answer is yes, our client would love to tell you more!

Our client is looking for a driven, passionate, highly organised, and experienced fundraising team manager with a keen eye for detail to join their high-performing team and growing individual giving programme.

Our client’s Individual Giving team has seen some fantastic results over the last 24 months – managing to meet all the challenges that the pandemic has thrown at them! But they are not resting on our laurels and have ambitious plans to build on that success and achieve even better income results in 2022/23!

About The Role

This is a really exciting time to join our client’s team, as there’s a real focus on planned giving growth, with full organisational backing. As a senior member of the team, you will lead on the strategic development of the multiple products in their successful Prize-Led programme, including the Big Win Weekly Lottery, their quarterly Super Draws, Brain Workout and Game Over Dementia. All products are marketed across on-and offline channels in line with external market trends, striving to meet growth objectives, supporting the Fundraising directorate and wider Society strategies.

You will be responsible for delivering successful acquisition campaigns across all Prize-Led products to deliver new, profitable supporters to our client. You will also be responsible for developing and retaining these supporters to protect in-year and pipeline income growth, maximising life-time value from the Prize-Led programme.

Reporting into the Head of Individual Giving, you will have a senior management position in the team and be responsible for setting annual budgets and operational plans for the Prize-Led programme. You will have line management of one Senior IG Officer, two Officers and team management of four staff, providing them with support and motivation whilst encouraging their personal and professional development.

This role is predominantly home-based, but the team comes together once a month to meet in person, and there is flexibility for more frequent office-working if desired. Our client is happy to discuss any preferences before or during the application process.

About You

The successful candidate will need demonstrable experience of delivering large, integrated multi-channel direct marketing fundraising campaigns with proven campaign success, as well as a thorough understanding of the regulations associated with Prize-Led fundraising. You will have excellent budgeting and forecasting ability, as well as strong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships. Line management experience is also essential, along with a passion for developing and motivating a team.

Dementia is one of the biggest health challenges of our time and you will be joining a team passionate about bringing real change for people living with dementia, their families, and carers.

Our client’s employees work hard every day to make a true difference in people’s lives. They are proud to support them with a range of benefits, recognition and many options for working agilely, all contributing to a strong work life balance. We also have various learning programmes to support you in your development and help you grow to realise your potential and shape a career with our client.

You may have experience of the following: Individual Giving Manager, Marketing, Fundraising, Individual Giving Officer, Trusts, Charity, Donors, Fundraising Officer, Fundraising Assistant, Not for Profit, Campaigns, etc.
