We are currently hiring a Senior HR Advisor role and the incumbent will be part of the North Asia regional HR team. This is a critical position in supporting the daily HR operations in our Seoul office.

About The Role

The role will include the below duties:

  • Point of reference for policy, process and application in all HR disciplines, and work closely with HRBPs to resolve queries.
  • Responsible for all HR Operations transactions which includes payroll instructions, benefits administration, time off and leave accrual data to Finance when required and submission of all Government Paid Leave claims e.g. Maternity, Childcare, Adoption etc.)
  • Work with Hiring Manager, HRBP and Talent Acquisition Partner to support local recruitment activities and process.
  • Manage the hiring and onboarding activities to provide positive employee experience.
  • Host new joiner induction with HRBPs and Senior Managers.
  • Coordinate and organize employees’ wellbeing and engagement events.
  • Conduct inclusive workplace training and other mandatory training.
  • Support HRBP and managers on employee relations and grievances matters.
  • Conduct data gathering exercises for benefits review and insurance renewal.
  • Update and maintain the Rules of Employment, HR information site and internal system.
  • Support the Site Leader on the Management Council and keep meeting minutes.
  • Perform periodic check and update of documents and records in preparation for labor official visits.
  • Contribute to HR project, from time to time, as a team member, and may take ownership of certain elements of the project, providing support and input to actions and overall objectives.
  • Provide general and daily HR support to local employees, and from time to time supporting the wider North Asia region as well.

About You

You’ll be a good fit for the role if you have the below:

  • A Degree with a focus on HR is preferred, or any relevant Business degrees.
  • At least 5 years of experience in HR or other experience in a large complex organization.
  • Ability to understand and work effectively in complex multinational business environments.
  • Commercial acumen with good problem solving and numerical ability.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks at once and be flexible and resilient in a changing environment.
  • Strong organisational skills, prioritization skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Microsoft Word, Excel).
  • Knowledge of, and practical experience with, Workday or another HRIS system is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills are a must.
  • A self-starter, strong problem solving skills, collaborative and strong team player.
  • Ability to work flexibly and globally with people at all levels in order to provide an optimal customer experience.
