Malaria Consortium is recruiting for a Senior Geospatial Specialist to join our team in London, UK.

The Senior Geospatial Specialist leads on the implementation of public health impact modelling and geospatial modelling analyses for the Organisation. This role supports interpretation of findings generated by the implementation of projects globally, whilst being responsible for leading the conceptualisation of heath impact modelling of programmes at scale. This role will have a specific focus on exploring equitable access to services in time and space, particularly granular geospatial data from large scale integrated community case management programes, geospatial approaches to impact modelling of intervention mixes, patient/ care access to services, and geospatial analyses impact of programmes at scale.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Master’s degree in modelling, epidemiology or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in malaria and/or modelling of public health related areas
  • Demonstrated in-depth understanding of modelling techniques,
  • Significant experience applying GIS software and geospatial analysis
  • Experience developing capacity among project team colleagues and, where relevant, external stakeholders

We are currently hybrid working with some requirements to work at the London office, however the postholder must reside in England for the duration of the role.
