Position Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst is an integral part of the finance and accounting team, reporting to the Corporate Controller. The Senior Financial Analyst will assist with the preparation of internal/external financial reports, Board of Directors materials, monthly financial analysis materials, and provide ad hoc analysis for the organization. This role will be a highly visible role with a tremendous opportunity to drive change and positively impact our business while working side by side with the senior leadership team as well as our investors.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute the annual operating plan process;
  • Manage and execute a monthly financial forecast process:
  • Partner with the Commercial team to provide sales and marketing operations support, including but not exclusive to weekly key performance indicators commentary, robust sales and margin analysis, variable compensation calculations and deal review support;
  • Partner with Human Resources to provide weekly key metric analysis as well as payroll and benefits analysis;
  • Build strong partnerships with other key functional leaders in the business as well as other key stakeholders;
  • Execute value-added analysis and provide decision support for special projects and initiatives;
  • Execute continuous process improvement efforts for FP&A and other processes;
  • Assist in developing finance and business presentations and related supporting materials for the senior leadership team, Board of Directors (BOD) and other outside constituents.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Solid understanding of accounting and finance principles;
  • Strong analytical, written and oral communication skills;
  • Demonstrated business partnering and interpersonal skills;
  • Organized, flexible and easily adaptable to changing conditions;
  • Prior experience working with NetSuite;
  • Experience working with financial consolidation systems;
  • High degree of proficiency with Excel, MS Access and PowerPoint;
  • Strong project management skills;
  • High energy, high ownership of work product and dedication and commitment to driving results;
  • Prior experience in a distribution and/or manufacturing environment

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, with a concentration in one of the following disciplines: Finance or Accounting
  • 3-5 years in a corporate accounting or finance role;
  • Demonstrated abilities in financial modeling and analysis;
  • Experience with financial planning and analysis responsibilities, including annual budget, capital budgeting and long-term strategic planning;
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S;

Compensation/Other Considerations

  • $75,000 – $85,000 Base salary
  • Health, 401k and other benefits
  • Limited travel
  • Flexibility in being able to work remotely
