Position Overview

Porsche Cars North America (PCNA) is hiring a senior financial analyst, financial controlling (finance) for its headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. The position will support the financial controlling for Sales Operations and the Customer Experience cost centers assisting in the preparation of monthly financial management reports, evaluating project plans, forecasting, and budgeting.

Strong analytical, accounting and communication skills are necessary for this position. This role requires the ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. This position reports to the Manager, Financial Controlling.

The PCNA Financial Controlling team is responsible for preparing and reporting accurate financial performance information and directs the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting process, working closely with all departments to establish realistic and achievable targets and plans.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation of the annual budget, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Prepare slides for ShareCo Meetings and Year End Presentation of financial results.
  • Create monthly variance analysis reports for assigned cost centers.
  • Calculate and track assigned accruals during month end close.
  • Work with department managers and teams to provide financial support and analysis.
  • Assist in monitoring compliance of management rules and internal control policies.
  • Assist in the review of future projects and business case proposals
  • Provide analysis and support for internal and external auditors.

Qualifications

Required qualifications include:

  • BS degree in finance, accounting or equivalent required.
  • 5-8 years of experience in corporate finance and/or accounting.
  • Detail oriented analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills – both written and verbal.
  • Ability to interact with of all levels of the organization in a team environment.
  • Strong computer skills, especially MS Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications Include

  • Advanced degree (MBA, MAcc, MS Finance, etc.)
  • SAP FI/CO experience
