Senior Finance Reporting Compliance Analyst (Staff Auditor) – Global Finance Compliance

Location: open for Spain, Italy, Switzerland, UK & Eastern US

The primary responsibility of the Senior Finance Reporting Compliance Analyst (Staff Auditor) is to provide support and guidance on monthly Adecco financial reporting and local statutory financial statement filing of LHH countries including but not limiting to USA, Canada, Belgium, Nederland, France, Germany, Spain, Poland, Switzerland, UK, Italy, Ireland, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, and New Zealand. This role is served as the primary contact with IT, Adecco Group Accounting, and Global Reporting Team to implement new reporting requirement, align and maintain the global reporting standard requirement in LHH local systems. The scope of the finance reporting compliance mainly covers the finance operations related to reporting and consolidation, transaction master data compliance, ICS (Internal Control System) audit compliance and Adecco group policies self-assessment.

Reporting Relationships:

  • Reports directly to the VP, Global Compliance, Treasury, and International Tax

In this role you can expect

Key Accountabilities

  • Support and review monthly Adecco GRP and HFM financial statement submission
  • Support and review local statutory financial statement and reconciliation to US GAAP
  • Develop and maintain upfront preventive automated controls and process improvement for standard Adecco reporting and disclosure requirement
  • Review and ensure finance and customer master data in GRP and HFM are fully aligned to local systems includes but not limiting to JDE, SalesForce, Orbit, Concur, and PeopleSoft
  • Coordinate and collaborate with IT, Adecco Group Accounting, and Global Reporting Team to implement new reporting requirement
  • Align and maintain global financial reporting standard requirement in LHH local systems
  • Work with IT and follow through for all GRP/HFM reporting issues and drive process improvement
  • Perform test of effectiveness, root cause analysis, analytical review for reporting and consolidation areas, and other assigned audit and projects
  • Assist in developing and perform annual brush up training program, new finance compliance, and group policies training program
  • Effectively communicate results and assist in identifying control weaknesses, noncompliance with Adecco group policies, finance reporting, and or other regulatory jurisdictions
  • Assist in developing effective, practical recommendations for concerns and/or issues noted during audits and projects
  • Assist in coordinating external audits and other Adecco internal audit requirement
  • Assist in development of the annual Internal Control Standard and Adecco Group Policy testing plan
  • Assist in updating the risk control matrix and testing attributes based on any changes in regulations, governance, or best practices.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with LHH country finance managers and external/internal auditors
  • Assisting for ad hoc and other administrative duties
  • Remain current and increase knowledge of regulatory requirements that impact the organization, as well as in the areas of internal control, accounting, business, company products and company information

Here’s what you’ll need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting is necessary
  • MBA or Public Accounting history a plus
  • Minimum of three to five years with preferred combination of accounting and finance analyst experience with large multinational companies and complex accounting transactions
  • CPA or CPA candidate
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of U.S. GAAP and IFRS
  • Knowledge of HFM or global integrated reporting and consolidation system a plus
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards, PeopleSoft, and Microsoft Dynamics a plus
  • Excellent written, time management, communication, and organizational skills
  • Exhibit willingness to learn, remain flexible and optimistic, and demonstrate a “can do” mindset
  • Be well organized, motivated, and proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to multitask, solve problems, manage time, adapt to changing work conditions, and shift priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Superior organizational skills, strong quality orientation, and high attention to detail
  • Flexible hours with expectation to work with stakeholders in different time zones
