Senior Film Producer

Scope

We are seeking a Senior Film Producer to join Scope’s in-house creative studio. As part of the Brand and Marketing team, you’ll work across an exciting variety of fundraising and campaigning projects delivering both short and longer form multi-channel digital media.

Full job description

The role

Interpret briefs and deliver creative solutions that meet specific objectives on time and within budget. 

Create high-impact and engaging platform-tailored film content for defined target audiences that inspires support and drives action.

Manage all aspects of film and media production/post production including ideation, scripting, shooting/directing and editing to a high professional standard.

Deliver an excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.

Provide creative direction and expertise to all teams.

Amplify the voices of disabled people across all content and ensure all materials are accessible and inclusive.

About you

You’ll have a wealth of experience delivering action-orientated and compelling video and socially-optimised content. You will be confident interrogating and interpreting briefs and delight in pitching and presenting ideas to stakeholders.

Your background will include frequently shooting on location and working with contributors with lived experience. You’ll be fluent in the ethics around co-production and operate in a truly participatory and collaborative way at all times. 

You’ll have a strong grasp of all elements of the production process and be able to manage multiple projects with precision planning and delivery.

With a razor sharp knowledge of the modern mainstream, you’ll stay up-to-date with new formats and fresh approaches both within the NGO sector and beyond.

You’ll be passionate about creative and will relish the opportunity to educate and upskill colleagues inside and outside of your team.

Finally, you have lived experience of disability, understand the social model of disability and relentlessly champion accessibility and inclusion or you are prepared to put the time and effort into learning from and listening to others who can help you get your head around the issues.
