Senior Executive Assistant (Corporate Governance) – Agile

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Executive Assistant to join our friendly team at our London HQ.

Your role will be an agile position meaning you can work flexibly between 3 days at a fixed base in Vauxhall and 2 days from home. You will work full time, 35 hours per week on a permanent contract with a salary of £30,734.05 to £32,911.34 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting). You will provide executive and administrative support to the Company Secretary and the Honorary Officers of the Charity (the Chair of the Board, Vice Chair and Treasurer). This will include diary and inbox management, managing correspondence, coordinating expense claims, and arranging travel and accommodation as required. You will also work closely with the Chair of the Board and trustees to support the effective governance of the charity. You will act as the secretariat for governance meetings ensuring that agendas are set and papers are prepared and distributed in good time. You will also minute governance meetings to a high standard.

To be successful in this role, you will need to maintain excellent relationships with the Company Secretary, the Honorary Officers of the Charity, the Board of Trustees and several other key internal stakeholders. In addition, you will work closely with other colleagues to support the smooth running of the Chief Executive’s Office as required.

You will be an experienced Executive Assistant who has worked at a senior level with directors and trustees. You will have strong organisational and time management skills and excellent communication (both verbal and written) skills. You will be able to manage competing priorities and deadlines. Ideally, you will also have some experience working within the charity sector or in governance.
