Bodhi Global Analysis is seeking an experienced Finnish-speaking Senior Evaluator specialising in economic development and digitalisation to join our roster. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in evaluation methodologies and the complex relationships between economic development, digital transformation, and international development cooperation.

This role is fully remote, with potential travel for specific evaluations.

Key Requirements:
Education:

• Master’s degree in Economics, Development Studies, Information and Communication Technology for Development (ICT4D), or a related field. PhD is an advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in evaluation of development cooperation, with a focus on economic development and digitalisation projects
• At least 3 completed evaluations as a team leader or 5 as a team member
• Demonstrated expertise in areas such as digital economy, e-governance, financial inclusion, and technology-driven economic growth
• Experience working on projects for bilateral or multilateral donors, particularly in the Nordic context

Skills and Expertise:

• Strong knowledge of evaluation methodologies, including utilisation-focused, theory-based, and participatory approaches
• Proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis methods
• Experience in evaluating the impact of digital technologies on economic development and poverty reduction
• Familiarity with OECD DAC evaluation criteria and standards
• Strong analytical and report writing skills
• Ability to manage evaluation teams and processes effectively

Language Requirements:

• Fluency in English and Finnish (written and spoken) is mandatory
• Additional languages relevant to evaluation contexts are a plus

• Willingness to travel internationally for field-based evaluations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to engage diverse stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-cultural team
• Commitment to ethical evaluation practices and cultural sensitivity

Remuneration:

• Day rate negotiable based on experience and specific project requirements
