Senior Engineer Drill Pipes & Tools

RINA is a multinational Group and global provider of classification, certification, testing, and inspection and training services to assist clients in a wide range of business sectors as Marine, Energy, Transport & Infrastructures, Business Assurance, Environment and Innovation, head quartered in Genoa, Italy.

We are looking to employ Senior Engineer Drill Pipes & Tools for our Abu Dhabi office.

Requirements:

•Bachelors in Mechanical Engg

•CSWIP 3.1/3.2, ASNT L II

•Minimum of Ten (10) years proven experience in Drill String, and minimum of five (5) years proven experience in DP manufacturing & mill surveillance. Must have a proven knowledge of:

•a. API specifications (5D, 5DP, Spec 7-1 and Spec 7-2)

•b. API recommended practices, RP7G

•c. Knowledge in – NDT Level II Certifications: UT (Ultrasonic Thickness), EMI (Electromagnetic Inspection), MP (Magnetic Particle), LP (Liquid Penetrant)

•d. Standard DS-1 Drill Stem, Manufacturing, Design, and Inspection – Volumes 1, 2, 3 & 4 – Fourth Edition.

•e. IADC drilling manual

•f. Auditing of service, inspection, and mill production facilities

•g. Field inspection methods for new and used drilling equipment

•Fluency in Spoken and Written English is must. Proficiency with MS office Applications. UAE Driving License preferred.

Location: Reem, Island , Abu Dhabi
