What does a “day in the life” of my new team look like?

  • To work on all aspects of the Graduate Recruitment cycle and ad hoc projects as necessary across for Asset Management (AMG) and Private Banking (PB), within our Wealth and Personal Banking business (WPB)
  • To manage the ongoing development for the Graduate Analysts within AMG and PB
  • Support the business on the Graduate Development framework and support execution activity. Day to day activity include: Programme support, rotation management (where relevant), performance management and strategic project delivery
  • To work with the business globally to co-ordinate and execute the marketing and attraction strategy and selection process for Full Time and Summer Intern Analysts (Graduate) hires across AMG and PB
  • To lead and/or support WPB wide projects as relevant to the team e.g. Head Start Programme, Summer Programme, Marketing initiatives
  • Campus Relationships & Marketing
  • Work in partnership with relevant business sponsors to plan and execute the target university and on-campus approach, evaluating the success of the previous campaign and ensuring business priorities are understood
  • Own and build active relationships and knowledge base with defined target universities under remit. Ensure cross-business activity is developed and a partnership approach with fellow Analyst Recruiters and the global team in order to present a united face on campus
  • Regularly attend campus events at target universities across UK
  • Timely sourcing of business representatives for all events. Preparation of full informational packs in advance for all events attendees and conduct of briefing sessions for business representatives INTERNAL Analyst Recruitment – Full time & Summers Interns
  • Facilitate all relevant assessment centres for business area and manage the debrief discussion alongside Global Markets and Global Research Graduate Recruiter and offer process
  • Ensure accurate M.I is regularly collated and maintained on marketing / campus campaign success and hiring activity, liaising with colleagues in the global regions to ensure a full picture and ‘one co-ordinated global face’ to the business
  • Liaise with potential recruits through the recruitment and selection process, ensuring a full understanding of the process and offer, if applicable
  • Assist in the facilitation of the ‘sell’ process to close applicants at offer stage and ensure a smooth transition into the organization/on to the programme/s Diversity

What do you need from me?

  • Proven graduate recruitment and development experience (ideally within a global Financial Services or Professional Services environment)
  • Previous Programme Management experience advantageous
  • Previous assessment centre planning / facilitation experience
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience of HR systems / databases / Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Graduate calibre
  • European language desirable but must be fluent in English
