What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain tools, solutions, and microservices associated with the deployment of products.
• Automate our operational processes as needed, with accuracy, and in compliance with our security requirements.
• Create and handle build/deployment pipelines for continuous integration and continuous delivery to improve the quality and availability of business products.
• Develop new processes to optimize performance and improve systems.
• Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.
• Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity.
• Analyze and comprehend how customers are using the platform and help drive continuous improvement of the offering based on that.

Who You Are

The DevOps team builds, configures, and maintains the frameworks, tools, and systems that enable optimal performance for all of Socio’s products. DevOps Engineer will align with the rest of the team on different layers of the infrastructure.

Requirements For This Role

• Fluency in English.
• +5 years of experience in a DevOps Engineer role.
• Strong experience with Linux systems, performance tuning and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong experience with AWS.
• Strong experience with Containerization technologies, preferably Kubernetes.
• Strong experience with build highly available, scalable, distributed systems.
• Experience with building CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
• Experience with monitoring (Cloudwatch, Grafana, Prometheus etc.), alerting (PagerDuty, OpsGenie etc.) and logging (ELK etc.).
• Experience with version control tools such as Git.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Shell or Python.
• Experience with cloud security methodologies including authentication, encryption, networking

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or similar
• Experience with configuration management technologies such as Ansible, Chef or Puppet
• Experience with Apache Kafka (AWS MSK)
• Having AWS or Kubernetes certifications
• Experience with RDBMS or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL or Redis
• Knowledge of Scrum approach and related process.
