Senior Delivery Analyst

Delivery Unit is made up of three teams: the (a) Schools and Families team; (b) Skills and Post-16 team; (c) a newer cross-cutting analytical team.

You Will Lead Work Across Delivery Unit’s Four Functions

The post is one of two team leaders in the cross-cutting analysis team.

  • Solve complex delivery problems: You will play a critical role in identifying, diagnosing, and resolving problems – designing analytical projects and methods to bring novel and high impact insight to delivery challenges.
  • Support planning: You will support the team to identify suitable performance indicators, set targets and trajectories and put in place credible plans for delivery.
  • Track performance: You will provide ministers with data and insight on progress, anticipate the likelihood of success, initiate supportive interventions, and manage risks.
  • Build capability: You will be responsible for resolving analytical issues that are preventing delivery of outcomes for learners, pupils, children, and families across the Department’s priority programmes. You will support teams across the DfE to improve their delivery and problem-solving capability.
