About the role

As Senior Investigator in our London office, you’ll be working within a team to produce data-driven investigations highlighting environmental abuses and the financial and power structures that enable them.

You’ll work closely with analysts, programmers and policy experts to develop investigative leads and gather evidence using key datasets. Your research will be used as the basis for impactful media content.

About you

You will be a talented and persistent researcher with a keen eye for a story. Passionate about achieving change, you’ll know how to identify leads and communicate your findings persuasively.

You will bring your ability to use a diverse array of datasets including financial filings, trade records and asset registries. As a creative problem solver, you will be at ease identifying novel solutions.

Finally, you’re a collaborator who enjoys working as part of a team with a solid infinity to Global Witness’ values.

This role is based in London and therefore to be considered you must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK. We are currently trialling a new hybrid working model for 2022 that requires staff to be in the office at least 20% of the working week, this is subject to review for 2023.
