Job Summary:

Reporting to the Deputy Director of Talent and Development, the Senior Corporate Talent Specialist leads the recruiting process for several Program Services Divisions and serves as the initial interface with the internal and external community. The Senior Corporate Talent Specialist is also accountable for a variety of Recruitment responsibilities with a focus on supporting the hire of talented staff, HRIS support, and other special projects. In addition, the Senior Corporate Talent Services Specialist will maintain excellent systems, troubleshoot challenges, and coordinate closely with the Deputy Director of Talent and Development on multiple tasks.

Position Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Recruiter or directly comparable professional function. A Bachelor’s degree will count towards equivalent work experience.
  • Must have the focus and desire to work in the Human Resources field.
  • Previous experience filling corporate operations positions in Human Resources, Business Development, IT, Finance, Procurement, and/or External Affairs.
  • Interpersonal skills to interact with colleagues in a customer-oriented manner while developing effective working relationships while exercising appropriate judgement and exercising necessary discernment.
  • A team player with demonstrated commitment to creating a high quality recruitment and employment experience.
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously with excellent organizational skills.
  • Great attention to detail, ability to work independently under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • HRIS experience, preferably UKG

Primary Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Will partner with Hiring Managers, other Recruiters and the broader Human Resources team to efficiently and effectively fill open positions.
  • In conjunction and partnership with Hiring Managers, will conduct regular follow-up to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
  • Will serve as a consultative resource and provide advice and direction to IRI staff regarding the selection of internal and external candidates in accordance with all internal practices and applicable standards and regulations.
  • Individual will negotiate and make offers of employment, transfer and promotions in accordance with policies, practices and other requirements of a position.
  • Will conduct candidate screening and facilitate the interview and debriefing process and assessments. Informs applicants of job duties and responsibilities, compensation and benefits, work schedules and working conditions, company policies, and other related information.
  • Support the preparation of candidate offer package and closing strategies in tandem with the Hiring Manager and other accountable members of Human Resources
  • Will document and follow establish work processes and communication workflows related to ongoing recruitment activities.
  • Will utilize Recruiting technology (current HRIS Ultimate Software/UKG) to support effective candidate outreach and creation of recruitment strategies.
