Your Opportunity:

Reporting to the Director, Zone Staffing Services, Edmonton Zone, the Senior Consultant, Business Operations and performance is accountable to champion AHS and Provincial Staffing Services (PSS) organizational direction. This position will visibly demonstrate and communicate support for the organization’s new approach to rotation optimization, relief team business strategy, and staff scheduling. This position will provide implementation leadership and guidance to various PSS operational teams in order to achieve positive outcomes for AHS clients being serviced and implemented through PSS.

Description:

Reporting to the Director, Zone Staffing Services, Edmonton Zone, the Senior Consultant, Business Operations and performance is accountable to champion AHS and Provincial Staffing Services (PSS) organizational direction. This position will visibly demonstrate and communicate support for the organization’s new approach to rotation optimization, relief team business strategy, and staff scheduling. This position will provide implementation leadership and guidance to various PSS operational teams in order to achieve positive outcomes for AHS clients being serviced and implemented through PSS. Responsibilities include: Developing and managing the provincial/zone project plan for PSS. Provide input into the requirements of PSS communication tools, strategies, and documentation for client engagement. Coach and mentor operational leaders on how to integrate the staffing service business operation changes/performance improvements into their business unit(s). Monitor the progress of the operation/intake project plan. Support and provide guidance to the Director, Zone Staffing Services, and Staffing Services Manager regarding direction setting and planning for PSS. Report issues, obstacles/barriers, and problem solve to ensure forward movement and achievement of implementation/operation goals.

Required Qualifications:

Baccalaureate degree in a health related or Business Administration is required. Minimum 5 years progressive project management and leadership experience, preferably in health management is required. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Self-directed and displays excellent judgment. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team building skills. Ability to interact with staff and leadership from various levels. Demonstrates a strong communication to client satisfaction.

Preferred Qualifications:

AIW-AHS Improvement Way – Courses/Certification is preferred. Project management certification (PMP/CPM) is preferred. Understanding/knowledge of staff scheduling environment is preferred. Prosci Certification is preferred.
