By joining our Restructuring Services team you will have the opportunity to be involved in transforming projects in the Financial Services sector.

You will be part of the market leading team advising corporate leaders in designing and executing Legal Entity Restructuring projects setting up, merging and liquidating legal entities. Our team advises on the assessment and implementation of strategic options, supports in refining exit strategies and assists in recovering value.

As a Senior Consultant/ Assistant Manager you will work with our clients in the areas of restructuring, market exits and corporate simplification as well as carve outs and legal entity rationalisations. You will join an international team with very professional and like-minded colleagues to bring the full set of sector and functional competencies to our clients with our global Deloitte network.

Together with our team, you will assist senior stakeholders to navigate through times of turmoil and uncertainty.

How You Can Make An Impact

  • Advise management teams and other senior stakeholders to create strategic optionality and design strategies and plans for implementation
  • The opportunity to work on restructuring projects and work closely with our clients to support them throughout restructuring periods, while minimising losses and setting them up for future growth
  • Work closely with the team on crafting and executing robust, value creating and recovering strategies
  • Develop and broaden your network: Work together with our colleagues from audit, tax & legal and consulting practice and lead business development activities, marketing initiatives and practice development activities
  • A culture that place value on high quality and solving client needs: Production of high quality deliverables within agreed timescales
  • Expand our footprint and develop methodologies in the financial services sector in Switzerland

Who Are We Looking For

  • Previous experience in restructuring, corporate finance or M&A (2 years plus) in commercial and private banking sector in particular. Plus an active interest in the prospects and challenges pf the banking & wealth management industry
  • Previous employment in the banking industry is a plus
  • Drive to grow quickly and to further develop analytical, conceptual and interpersonal skills
  • Strong project management skills driving a work stream and alignment across the overall project
  • You are motivated to work in a demanding and rewarding environment
  • Fluency in English and German. French or Italian in addition are a plus.
  • Bachelors/Master’s degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Economics, Business Law and/or MBA
