THE PURPOSE:

You are responsible for the implementation and support of ecommerce applications, market places, digital marketing initiatives, various vendors and users that support ecommerce and other digital applications.

THE ROLE (Magento BA)

  • Acting as an applications analyst, project coordinator and technical troubleshooting resource to support the use and expansion of True Religion’s various ecommerce applications.
  • Identifying opportunities for new e-Commerce, mobile, and social capabilities, and ensure the features that are built on a multi-region e-Commerce platform.
  • Partnering with business, vendors, IT and other stakeholders to understand needs, document requirements and create sprint tickets.
  • Assisting in various website management functionalities such as catalog & content management, promotions/campaign management, security review, deployment testing, and release management.
  • Assisting in managing various marketplace functionalities, digital marketing initiatives.
  • Working independently or collaborate across team members and at various levels within organizations.
  • Effectively communicating business requirements and stakeholder expectations to team members in a timely manner and clear fashion.
  • Creating website development specifications and business requirements.
  • Defining and creating epics, features, stories and other artifacts to support development goals in collaboration with project management, development managers, and client stakeholders
  • Proactively managing changes in project scope, identifying potential issues, and devising contingency plans.
  • Providing on-going support for QA life cycle. Create and manage test scripts, test plans and test cases.
  • Assisting in development and maintenance of the online procedure guide and knowledge database.
  • Maintaining a flexible work schedule and be on-call during evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • Documenting system problems and their resolutions for future reference.

YOU ARE:

  • Someone who has strong ecommerce knowledge
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to communicate across all levels (user, management, vendor – business & technical).
  • Ability to investigate and analyze information and to draw conclusions.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • SDLC knowledge and Agile software development methodologies.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems (or equivalent) required
  • Minimum 5 years experience in various ecommerce platforms in Hybris, Magento ( Magento Preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years experience in prioritizing, planning, delivering and supporting ecommerce applications, interfaces, vendor-based applications and systems upgrades.
  • Minimum 2 years experience with JIRA or similar ticketing system

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Prior experience implementing and supporting ecommerce websites using Demandware/Salesforce commerce cloud.
  • Prior experience implementing mobile apps will be great plus.
  • Prior experience with managing market places such as eBay, Amazon.
  • Knowledge and experience of ERP systems such as Full Circle is a plus.
  • Agile software methodology experience, especially scrum master role understanding and expertise.
  • Project management experience including developing test procedures, scripts and performing applications testing.
  • Knowledge of the Atlassian toolset.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project for the maintenance of project plans.
