Senior Business Analyst Location: UK Flexible Contract Type: 12 month fixed term contract (dependent on project requirements) Hours per week: 35 Salary: Up to £53,000 per annum, depending on experience (including Inner London Weighting of £3,344 where applicable)

What you’ll be doing…

The British Red Cross has embarked on an ambitious transformation to build a sustainable organization and ensure we’re ‘Fit for the Future’ to deliver our 2030 strategy. As part of this programme of change, this role will help us transform the way we fundraise by helping us design a new target operating model for marketing – looking at our core capabilities and associated processes.

As Senior Business Analyst for the fundraising transformation you will help to bring clarity to the current fundraising operating model and help us make informed, strategic decisions regarding the design of the to-be operating model. You will work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders across fundraising and the broader organisation, synthesise the findings and bring rigor and challenge to ensure robust decision making. This is key to us achieving our bold ambition required to help people in crisis.

You will help us understand the current processes as well as resulting capabilities, capacity and enablers so that we can identify the key pain points and opportunities to deliver the future vision. You will be a key member of the team carrying out the organisational design for the new operating model.

You’ll be required to operate in a complex stakeholder environment at all levels of the organisation and you’ll need the experience and gravitas to work with and manage stakeholders at the most senior level.

This role might be for you if…

– You have substantial experience of creating and analysing clear organisational and business processes, understanding the ‘as-is’ state and conducting the relevant analysis to create the ‘to-be’ – You have worked on large, complex transformation programmes in a large and geographically dispersed organisation – You can demonstrate experience of stakeholder management in a complex programme environment including influencing without authority and encouraging collaborative working to achieve programme aims – You have knowledge of recognised business process analysis and improvement methodologies and the ability to flex and adapt to in-house requirements and approaches – You have experience or knowledge of the not for profit /voluntary sector in which the British Red Cross operates then this will be advantageous, especially fundraising. – You have experience of marketing – Y ou’re passionate about operating in complex situations to drive clarity and insight – You’re passionate about driving change and transformations – You’re passionate about bringing together a wide range of stakeholders to extract insight and drive alignment through rich facilitation both face to face and remotely
