Job Overview

Sr Analyst, Statistics:

We are seeking to appoint a Sr. Analyst to join a team of highly skilled epidemiologists, statisticians, health economists and consultants. The successful candidate will work closely with other senior scientific staff within the company.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Independently implement/overview implementation of wide range of data analyses by using R or SAS. Data analyses may include regression analyses, survival analyses, parametric and non-parametric testing, data visualization, simulations as well as advanced statistical methods such as propensity score matching, longitudinal data analyses, etc.
  • Contribute to the drafting of statistical analysis plans and statistical reports.
  • Support development of good statistical practices (e.g. macros development)
  • Search for the state-of-the-art techniques commensurate to the project objectives.
  • Work hand in hand with a team of statisticians, epidemiologists, data managers, project managers and other scientists for project delivery.
  • Participate in the development of advanced statistical tools in response to business needs, and support publication development and scientific communications
  • Participate/lead technical discussions– both internally and with the clients.

Required Qualifications / Experience

  • A masters’ degree in statistics, mathematics, biostatistics, health economics, health outcomes, or health services research with 2-3 years of statistical experience in health sciences is required
  • A PhD degree in statistics, mathematics, biostatistics, health economics, health outcomes, or health services research is preferred.
  • Experience in researching and implementing advanced statistical analyses.
  • Knowledge of Bayesian statistics, survival methods, NMAs, machine learning, health economic modelling are a plus.
  • Experience with epidemiological and healthcare databases in the US, UK, or EU.

Required Skills

  • Professional proficiency in English, written and spoken
  • Proficient in using SAS software, additional knowledge of R is preferable
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of the team
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects

Job Overview

Consultant, Statistics:

We are seeking to appoint a Consultant to join a team of highly skilled epidemiologists, statisticians, health economists and consultants. The successful candidate will work closely with other senior scientific staff within the company. Consultants lead the development of client deliverables, performing research and analysis tasks and providing the necessary scientific or strategic insight and interpretation in their area of expertise as required for the project. Consultants contribute to engagements in various areas as task and project leaders, working independently to deliver on the contracted scopes of work, and potentially coordinating the work and contributions of other colleagues in the performance of their assigned tasks necessary to develop final deliverables. Project management and direct, independent client engagement are frequently required of the Consultant.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Search for the state-of-the-art techniques commensurate to the project objectives.
  • Work hand in hand with a team of statisticians, epidemiologists, data managers, project managers and other scientists for project delivery.
  • Participate in the development of advanced statistical tools in response to business needs, and support publication development and scientific communications
  • Participate/lead technical discussions– both internally and with the clients.
  • Ensure team’s adherence to project SOPs, policies, and procedures.
  • May train and coordinate Analysts and Interns.

Required Qualifications / Experience

  • A masters’ degree in statistics, mathematics, biostatistics, health economics, health outcomes, or health services research with 3-4 years of statistical experience in health sciences is required.
  • A PhD degree in statistics, mathematics, biostatistics, health economics, health outcomes, or health services research with 1-2 years of statistical experience is preferred.
  • Experience in working with epidemiological, administrative healthcare, or EMR databases in the US, UK, or EU is required.
  • Experience in researching and implementing advanced statistical analyses (multivariate regression models, propensity score matching, survival analysis) is required.
  • Knowledge of Bayesian statistics, NMAs, machine learning, health economic modelling are a plus.

  • Has strong analytical and written/oral communication skills
  • Professional proficiency in English, written and spoken
  • Proficient in using SAS software, additional knowledge of R as well as other software is preferable
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of the team
