US Agency for International Development

  • Provides technical and managerial leadership for worldwide research and learning on Indigenous Peoples’ rights and social inclusion considerations for development programming.
  • Provides support to USAID Missions, host-country governments, and other stakeholders on the design, implementation, and evaluation of programs relating to Indigenous Peoples? rights and the inclusion of Indigenous Peoples in development activities.
  • Develops and monitors policies and strategies specific to Indigenous Peoples? rights and the inclusion of Indigenous Peoples in Agency programs across all technical sectors.
  • Leads and directs the planning, development, and implementation of global program/project development activities supporting Indigenous Peoples? rights and inclusion of populations traditionally excluded from development planning and activities.
  • As needed, serves as the Contracting Officer?s Representative (COR), Agreement Officer?s Representative (AOR) and/or Activity Manager for projects, performing the full range of project management functions.
  • Integrates results of various studies and analyses into comprehensive technical briefings, reports, and technical papers. Provides technical advice and counsel both within and outside the organization as a recognized expert in the field.
