Job Title: Senior Accountant

Salary: $2.500 – $3.200 USD Monthly Gross – Negotiable according to experience

Languages: Native Spanish and Fluent English level.

Location: Montevideo, Uruguay.

We are searching for a self-motivated Senior Accountant to help with our thriving office in Montevideo Uruguay. As a Senior Accountant you will also lead the local office.

 

In this capacity you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of services, coordinating with corporate and clients, managing the local budget, preparing and signing financial accounts (both internally and for clients) and acting as the legal representative for entities when required.

 

To be successful in this role, you should be a competent team leader, a great accountant and have solid interpersonal skills. 

 

Outstanding candidates should be able to work without supervision and demonstrate excellent client management skills.

 

Responsibilities:

·    Represent the company at a senior level (be the face of the company).

·    Lead and manage the local team.

·    Ensure the delivery of client services (quality control).

·    Coordination with clients and corporate 

·    Responsible for achieving financial objectives.

· Ensure good communication and relationships with both clients, coworkers, and employees.

·    Responsible for new hirings and office structuring (i.e. staff planning).

·    Maintains office standards discipline.

·    Accounting and Bookkeeping Services.

·    Preparing and declaring local taxes.

·    Payroll calculation and payments.

·    Preparing and signing financial statements.

·    Legal Representation (when required).

·    Other tasks as required.

 

Requirements – Essential:

·    Advanced to Native English level. (It is a must)

·    Bachelor’s degree in accounting

·    Must be a registered accountant and provide prove of it

·    Minimum 8 of years professional work experience.

·    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·    Superb organizational skills.

·    Outstanding interpersonal skills.

·    Ability to multitask and prioritize.

·    Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.

·    Attention to detail and work in a very fast-paced environment.

·    Out-going, well organized and hardworking.

·    Very responsive to clients.
