This Australian Care provider is currently looking to onboard an experienced and driven Senior Accountant / Business Partner. Working with the Head of Finance you will manage all aspects of financial operations for two major divisions of this $250m organisation. This role offers the opportunity for an individual to invest in this role and in return, there is a genuine path into further executive positions.
As the key business partner, you will provide overall leadership and direction across both the financial and commercial reporting, you will also oversee a small team. This is a “hands-on” environment where you will need to implement robust financial controls to ensure a best practice environment is achieved. Additionally, you will be tasked with building key relationships with the Business leaders, managing their operating costs, and providing economic insights of high-profile projects. It is expected that you will drive finance process improvement around operations & supply and be the overall custodian of the financial results and the strategic planning process – this is a genuine business partner role.
CA or CPA qualified, with commercial experience in a broad and hands-on role, preferably in a health and/or project-based environment. You have strong attention to detail and have the ability to motivate and influence others, effectively creating a business partnering environment to assist in commercial decision-making. Your excellent interpersonal and communication skills give you the confidence to engage and influence those above and below you and across the organisation. You have strong commitment to ongoing personal development and improvement of processes and aspire to value-add in your next long-term career step.
