Growing Northern Columbus company is looking to add a senior accountant to their team. Incredible leadership across the board and lots of opportunities to move into new directions if interested. They are very dedicated to a positive work-life balance and are working hybrid after an initial in-person period (1-2 months) This person will join an existing team working on a monthly close, forecasting/budgeting, and financial statement prep. They are looking for someone who is able to see issues or new methods and say something. Team environment where everyone gets to contribute and be heard.
Responsibilities
- Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
- Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close
- Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes
- Research and analyze expense variances for company management
Qualifications
- 3-6 years G/L and internal financial reporting
- BS degree
- Able to commute to Delaware Ohio when needed
- Dynamic and engaged attitude
