We are working with a PE backed business that is looking to strengthen the team by bringing in a skilled and accomplished Senior Accountant, who is keen to develop and learn. Supporting the VP of Finance, this role will focus on fully cycle accounting, month end close, analysis and process improvements for a high growth business.
Responsibilities to include:
- Journal entries, accruals, prepayments, reconciliations
- Full cycle month end close with both accounting and analysis
- Oversight of remote AP and AR
- Work with employees to monitor and resolve payroll issues
- Analyze financial statements
- Work with auditors at year end
- Ad hoc work as required
About you:
- Accounting degree with 3+ years professional experience
- Good exposure to general accounting
- Strong month end close experience
- An inquiring mind and an eagerness to learn
- Strong Excel – VLOOKUPS, Pivot tables, formulas etc.
- A can do attitude
