SES are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Media Sales Manager to help scale our business and future vision. Working within the Commercial team, the Segment Market Manager, Cloud is responsible for an annual sales target that enables our customers to manage and monetize their content and brands globally, agnostic to linear or non-linear delivery. The role shall develop and enhance the commercialization of the SES hybrid portfolio in the media industry. In addition, the Segment Market Manager, Cloud will be responsible for fostering and developing relationships with key broadcasters and customers in the Media industry as part of the G2M interest of SES with clear focus on the content monetization flow in the media industry for B2B and B2B2C.

Primary responsibilities / Key result areas
- Lead acquisition of new customers and build a long-lasting client base
- Identify and develop qualified business opportunities and key market trends
- Full accountability and responsibility for the correct and successful execution of commercial negotiations and closure of contracts
- Develop and cooperate with internal stakeholders to create complex business solutions consistent with G2M prospect
- Promote the migration of on-prem services for the cloud
- Cooperate closely with Broadcasters, Media agencies, Content Owner, Platforms, Rights Owners, Production & Advertising houses
- Close cooperation with internal stakeholders e.g.: sales team, sales support team and the SES Cloud Media Platform team / Segment Market Management
- Support on major customer projects within the whole SES team and internal project members
- Act as a reference in the Sales community and as a support for integrating/providing knowledge within the team

Qualifications & Experience
- Min. 3 years working experience in sales in media industry or similar- role in the media industry
- Cloud experience or certification (AWS or Microsoft as a preference)
- Fluency in English (spoken and written), another language is a plus (e.g.: German, Spanish and French)
