Our team manages multiple security and compliance partners whose solutions can be used by the US Federal Government in regulated environments?

As an AWS Security Portfolio representative, you will have the exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver joint security strategies between Amazon Web Services and our existing security and compliance partners who serve public sector customers globally. Your mission will be to develop and execute go to market security strategies which accelerate AWS adoption by public sector customers, especially within the Federal, State & local Governments and Department of Defense across the globe.

In this role, you will establish strategic go-to-market relationships with AWS security partners to develop repeatable security and compliance promotions using various social media, web, print and other media focused on public sector customer needs. You will have day-to-day interactions with these partners to support our joint go to market of their solution on AWS.

The goals for the role include growing internal/external adoption of AWS in partnership with our security technology solutions, working with our existing partners to help other solution providers achieve required accreditation, and building organizational competency and momentum within AWS Security leadership and sales. You will also be responsible for awareness and education of security and compliance requirements, processes, and tools for the AWS sales field and partner channel.

The ideal candidate will possess strong social media, promotions and event management background which can enables them to engage and interact across internal AWS teams, as well as enables deep go to market interactions across our global security and compliance partners.

Key job responsibilities

  • Drive the strategy, development and execution of go-to-market for our portfolio of security and compliance partners
  • Own the end-to-end development and execution of experience plans for new solutions and partner launches
  • Maintain laser-focus on the customer and leverage research and customer insights to develop product and positioning of our security strategy
  • Analyze the results of campaigns while finding opportunities nd optimize performance and share big picture learning’s with the partner teams

Basic Qualifications

  • College/University Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of sales or prospecting experience
  • 2+ years or more of experience using running sales campaigns and/or Customer Relationship Management tool

  • Target orientated, ambitious, creative, customer focused
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter with highly developed interpersonal skills and organizational skills, decisive and result oriented who is prepared to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment
  • Ability to travel to the U.S. and abroad as needed
  • Experience working with Public Sector customers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
