Description
Objective:
The Security Guard provides and maintains security in the assigned premises by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting building, equipment, and access points; permitting entry. Obtains help by sounding alarms. Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.
ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Always applies the established security rules;
- Ensure the security, safety and well-being of all personnel, visitors and the premises;
- Protect organization’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment;
- Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; announces all visitors and vehicles and obtaining signatures;
- Performs regular checks of the premises/compound (including fire extinguishers, windows, doors, lights and piping) to prevent incidents;
- Operates the generator and respects rules established for the use of it. (Registration of fuel consumption during holidays-registration of generators working hours);
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
> Education and Professional Experience required:
- Primary school education.
- Basic knowledge of English of written and spoken.
- Knowledge of Security Operations and Procedure.
- Knowledge of Basic Security and Fire Inspection Procedures
- Similar work experience is desirable.
