IRW’s International Programmes Division is recruiting for the position of ‘Seasonal Programmes Officer’ to join its dynamic team. The purpose of the role is to provide active support to Islamic Relief’s end-to-end seasonal programme ensuring a well-planned and effective delivery of Ramadan, Qurbani, Eid gift and Aqeeqa food distributions, Wintersiation programme in all Country offices in accordance with global and local strategies and action plans.

The successful candidate must have or be:

  • A graduate degree or experience in development/humanitarian areas
  • A good understanding of international development issues
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Working in a similar role with an International NGO
  • Experience of and commitment to a participatory, supportive, open environment to ensure the learning and development of all.
  • Analytical skills coupled with the experience of writing quality proposals and reports
