Supply Chain Manager- MRP – Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire, Office based – £50,000 – £60,000pa – 23 days holiday + Christmas Shut Down + BH + Free Parking
An exciting and challenging opportunity for an experienced FMCG Supply Chain Manager to join an established SME and take ownership of maximising supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
As a result of excellent business growth, our client is seeking to strengthen its supply chain team by appointing an experienced supply chain manager to lead the implementation and evaluation of supply chain logistics activities and procedures, including but not limited to stock planning, service material procurement, inventory control, distribution management, resource balancing, perpetual inventory counts, stock obsolescence analysis.
This role is office-based, will be reporting directly to the MD, and will play a pivotal role in the company’s growth plans. What you will be responsible for?
Scheduling / Planning / Forecasting / ERP / MRP / Supply Chain
Run regular and focused MPS/MRP processes using the company’s ERP system
Ensure the company’s ERP system is up to date and accurately maintained
Procurement/Purchasing processing
Liaising with suppliers and customers on delivery of goods
Close working relationship with Stores to ensure accurate stock analysis / Inventory control
Achieve KPI targets as published for supplier on-time delivery, quality and acknowledgement performance.
Implement and manage continuous improvement and modern manufacturing principles by highlighting deficiencies and recommending training, working practices, and process changes.
What skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role?
Experience in building both MRP and MSP Plans
Experience in using Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
Experience using ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics (Business central) / Navision
Excellent planning and time management skills.
Exceptional analytical skills
Good organisational and execution skills
Competent in problem-solving and decision making
