SAP Ariba Functional Consultant

Position: Senior SAP Ariba Upstream Functional Consultant

Location: Dubai

One of the leading consulting and outsourcing company that specializes in spend management initiatives, procurement outsourcing and project implementation services is looking for an experienced Senior SAP Ariba Functional Consultant to join their dynamic team.

We are SAP partners and implement spend management and strategic sourcing initiatives for our clients through a niche solution, SAP Ariba. SAP Ariba is a cloud based software that has incorporated all procurement specific functions to simplify procurement activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, understand and define customer needs, objectives and business requirements in order to propose solutions that can best meet their requirements.
• Prepare and deliver demonstrations/presentations in support of sales cycles
• Prior to key presentations/demonstrations, conduct discovery sessions with representatives from the prospective customer in order to build relationships with the customer and understand their unique needs
• Maintain high-level knowledge of SAP’s procurement solution suite in the specialization area of responsibility
• Design workflows specific to business process outcomes, and understand how to develop and integrate a proposed solution into a customer’s existing business and technical environment
• Be actively involved in the solution implementation to ensure that solutions are accurately scoped and delivered in line with customer expectations

• Expert in areas of:
• Ariba Sourcing, Contracts, SLP, SRM, MM, HCM

• Industries:
• Foods, Facility Management, Oil and Gas, Telecom, Automobile and Aftermarket sales, Semiconductor, Chemicals and Packaging Industries

• Technical skillset:
• Services development and Security, Cloud Application development, Middleware Technologies (Ariba ITK, AN Adapter, Ariba CIG, SAP Business workflow, Webdynpro ABAP and FPM, BSP, BOPF Framework, BRFplus workbench, ALE IDOCs and ABAP proxy

• Functional skillset:
• level of SAP Ariba Sourcing and Contract Management and Supplier Lifecycle Performance Management
• level of experience and knowledge of SAP Ariba Commerce Automation and Procure-to-pay
• Configuration for SAP Ariba, SAP SRM and SAP SLC systems, Requirement gathering, BBP Workshops and design, Conducting end user trainings, UAT and SIT

• Presales Experience:
• Pre-Bid meetings, Prepare Proposals, Solution Scope and Project Scope of Work, Design Proof of Concepts

Educational Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors Degree (IT preferred)
• Ariba Certifications
• Minimum 10 years’ experience
