About The Team

The Sanctions Technology and Controls team leverages data, systems, and current tools to deliver efficiencies, and quality products to customers internal to the Sanctions and Compliance teams, with a focus on technical application solutions using best-practices, data quality, and standards.

What you will be doing

Ensure that compliance improvement goals are the top priority in the design, build, and direction of solutions.

Utilize existing organizational, topical, and technical knowledge to deliver those solutions with precision.

Pivot quickly to respond to the dynamic needs of the Compliance group.

Liaise with AML and Sanctions teams to diagnose, coordinate, and deliver solutions to operational issues, and inefficiencies.

Independently identify areas for improvement, and with a keen eye on operational efficiencies for the Compliance group – as well as the whole of the organization.

Monitors line of business compliance activities to verify that regulatory compliance deadlines and requirements are met.

Assists the business with responses to customer compliance-specific questions and concerns.

Prepares and approves internal and customer communications covering compliance issues (bulletins, position statements, monthly reports, etc.

What You Bring:

Bachelor’s degree, or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

Ability to draft technical documents, procedures and legal or regulatory reference materials.

3+ years comprehensive experience in Sanctions, AML/BSA operations, regulations, and technologies

1+ years of big-data analysis, databases administration, and scripting languages.

1+ years comprehensive experience in systems analysis and administration.

Ability to apply creative problem-solving techniques and tools to compliance issues.

Ability to share information to a variety of audiences with awareness of its effect on others and deal effectively with confidential issues that are sensitive in nature.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $87,430.00 – $(phone number removed) and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay.
