Technical Support Engineer

Job Summary

Technicl Support Engineer / Projects In-Charge will ensure that all projects are delivered on time within the stipulated scope and budget. Lead the initiation and planning of a project and ensure technical feasibility. Ensure resource availability and allocation. Develop a detailed plan to monitor and track the progress of the project.

Major Responsibilities
Monitoring the daily progress of projects
Providing detailed updates to project managers or the management.
Ensuring team members have all the required resources they need to complete their assigned tasks on time.
Organizing reports, other technical files for easy access.
Planning meetings and organizing project minutes on meeting.
Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information.
Liaise with clients to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives.
Discussing with Project Manager to assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management.
Make sure that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve.
Monitor project progress and discuss any issues that arise with the Project Manager.
Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.
Work with the Project Manager to eliminate blockers.
Use tools to monitor working hours, plans and expenditures.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.
Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests.
Any other work-related task that may arise as per the HoD instructions.

Skills Required
Excellent communication skills both verbal & written.
Should have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to organize day to day operational activities.
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
Able to learn new technologies quickly. Demonstrated willingness to keep technical skills and knowledge up to date.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to adapt easily.
Ability to prioritize and work around deadlines.
Ability to remain professional, confident and patient at all times.
Must be a team player, able to work effectively and contribute value with limited direction

Minimum Educational Qualification: Bachelor and Master Degree in Electronics or in relevant field.

Minimum Experience: 05 Years in UAE
