NRC’s global strategic plan for 2022 – 2025 positions Digital Transformation as a crucial facilitator for organisational advancement and a key driver in realising NRC’s 2030 objectives. The integration of digital solutions to enhance internal efficiencies and extend services to beneficiaries is central to achieving these ambitions. A pivotal aspect of this initiative involves ensuring the security of systems, applications, and the associated data to uphold privacy, confidentiality, and prevent any digital harm.

Since 2018, NRC has dedicated investments to develop various digital products on the Salesforce platform. Currently, critical business functions and processes across the organisation leverage these solutions. In order to enhance the utilisation and effectiveness of the platform and the digital products built on it, NRC is seeking an experienced Salesforce Solutions Architect consultant (sole trader or company).

Presently, NRC employs globally adopted Salesforce-based solutions encompassing grants management, incident management, and private and corporate fundraising. Additionally, there are solutions with a more localised impact, including complaints and feedback mechanisms, as well as programme and beneficiary databases. However, these applications have been introduced over time without a coordinated enterprise architecture approach. They utilise different Salesforce platform products and lack consistency in adopting the latest available features. Addressing these aspects is a priority for NRC in the upcoming years.

How to apply
Your quotation should clearly indicate the following:

• A cover letter expressing interest in the consultancy.
• Technical proposal that outlines the approach and work plan based on the schedule of deliverables.
• CV with relevant work experience and qualifications for each individual that will be involved as part of the consultant team.
• Financial proposal including the hourly rate. Please provide offers based on the following:
  • It is expected that the estimated amount of work will total a maximum of 780 hours throughout the duration of the contract.
  • Tasks will be conducted on a part-time basis with an estimated 10-15 hours per a week.
  • Currency of offer: USD.
  • Price offer should be inclusive of any relevant taxes that the consultant is liable for.
  • Validity of the offer: 90 days.

Deadline for submission of quotations is at 17:00h Oslo time on 5 January 2024. Sole traders or companies who do not submit their quotation by this deadline will not be considered.

When the bid is submitted electronically, please make sure you comply with the below:

• The following title shall be inserted in the Subject Line of the email: RFQ for Salesforce Solutions Architect
• Bid documents required, shall be included as an attachment to the email in PDF format and if there are multiple documents, they can be provided as a compressed ZIP file. Documents in MS Word or Excel formats will result in the bid being disqualified.
