The Salesforce Technical Lead position requires an individual who goes beyond technical proficiency. Technical lead serves a key role bridging functional, business, or process requirements with technology product capabilities. Their depth of salesforce technology with CPQ domain expertise allows them to lead and influence both internal and client personnel to drive the architecture, technical integration design and implementation resulting in maximum client value. The person sets the direction of the technical project items and ensures the execution through all project phases.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with functional architects, system architects, technical representatives, testing team, and product teams. Collect requirements, especially technology requirements. Drive Clear and concise articulation, presentation, and documentation of technical solutions, constraints, recommendations, and action items to both internal and external audiences.
  • Coordinating with the System Architect and development team to document and ensure technical solutions support business needs, follow strong architectural principles, use system resources efficiently, and integrate cleanly with the user interface and server components of the CPQ application and technical architecture.
  • Ensure solution is scalable and meets overall business requirements, drive high quality implementation and issue fixes.
  • Conversant in broad range of technical topics including – integration, master data management, user experience
  • Create solution design documents, especially technology approaches, estimates, and design.
  • Configure, test and roll out technical solution.
  • Manage internal technical team.
  • Deliver tasks on time and on budget.

Experience You’ll Need

  • Minimum 7-8 years experience as a team member of successful software project implementations related to SaaS, CPQ, Quote-to-Cash, Contract Management (CLM)
  • At least 1 full lifecycle implementations with CPQ tools as a Technical Architect or technical Lead
  • Strong technical knowledge of Salesforce CPQ (aka Steelbrick) Tools and Processes
  • Experience working with Force.com Apex Classes, Apex triggers, Batch Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visual Force (VF Pages), Integration (REST, SOAP, Change Data Capture, Platform Events), Force.com API, SOQL and SOSL
  • Experience working with Salesforce customizations, workflow approvals, flow, and process builder
  • Experience with CI/CD Devops including using tools such as: Visual Studio Code, Git, Bitbucket, and Jira
  • Ability to troubleshoot the Salesforce platform: sharing and visibility, bulk DML operations, Apex, callouts, etc.
  • Experience with web, database, middleware integrations, object oriented software technologies, SDLC methodologies and Salesforce.com or Force.com
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with cross-functional teams internally and at customer sites
  • Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Lead development initiatives and provides mentorship and direction to less experienced developers.
  • Ability to work closely within a team environment of multi functional and cross vendor teams, and deliver to aggressive timelines
