Lumentum is a global leader in 3D Sensing, laser light sources, commercial lasers and telecom and is seeking an experienced Sales Fulfillment Manager to support our Hyperscale/ Datacom/ 3DS Sales team in the America’s region.

This team is focused on growth accounts and has ambitious targets to extend our presence at Big Tech customers and the associated ecosystems selling Lumentum’s broad portfolio of photonic and optical products.

This role will report to the VP of Sales and will support the regional sales directors (3) and their direct reports (9) by overseeing sales support activities including forecasting, order processing, RFx response support, revenue recognition, data collection and the preparation of reports for the sales and executive management teams.

The Sales Support Manager will work closely with cross functional teams of Product Line Managers, Engineering, Finance and Operations to deliver exceptional customer support.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to be part of a team managing existing business, spearheading new design wins and applications and develop large, complex accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees and analyses forecasts for the region
  • Coordinates the quarterly revenue and S&OP numbers for the region with Acct Execs, BU’s and Ops; Drives Go-Gets, feedback and actions between Sales region and the BU’s / Ops
  • Represents Sales region on internal revenue Gap and product allocation calls and follow through on action items
  • Works directly with customer purchase departments to validate forecast and ensure orders are provided in a timely manner.
  • Main interface to customer (and/or their CM/ Module integrator) for quality-, supply- and delivery escalations
  • Interfaces with Customer Service, Quality and Operations to ensure customer delivery/quality issues are dealt with in a timely manner
  • Ensures VMI programs are meeting customer and Lumentum objectives
  • Resolves customer issues gating revenue achievement
  • Supports and help organizing QBR’s and ongoing (not NPI) Audits
  • Drives initiatives to improve operational alignment with customers
  • Develops system support for deriving main sales metrics from existing CRM system.
  • Prepare and maintain quarterly commission reports in synchronization with accounting team.
  • Work with VP of Sales to prepare and execute detailed presentations, tactics, metric, systems and action plans.

Qualifications

  • Excellent knowledge of customer procurement process – both direct and through CM’s/ Module integrators
  • BS Engineering or equivalent
  • Good technical knowledge of our products
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills

  • Ability to build strong relationships externally and internally
