The Sales Specialist will have a mission to promote our Cyber Security solutions and services to our installed base, as well as to new customers. This key position belongs to the Go-To-Market Business Unit and will report directly to the Senior Director, Go-To-Market.

In this role, you wll:

  • Be self-starter with the ability to work independently and as a Strong team player in matrix organization.
  • Drive our expansion and growth in the French speaking market of Switzerland through acquisition and through up-/cross-selling into the existing customer base
  • Feel comfortable in understanding customer challenges and mapping solutions and services to it, to help customers achieving their business outcomes.
  • Feel comfortable in talking to different stakeholders with different levels of business and technical expertise.
  • Know how to demonstrate the NTT capabilities and experience in the relevant practice or service area – resulting in the expansion of existing client accounts.
  • Bring an excellent level of industry knowledge, combined with commercial acumen, business strategy skills, and knowledge of Cyber Security sourcing models and market trends, as well as in-depth understanding of our client’s Cybersecurity challenges.
  • Generate demand through the identification and qualification of current and future needs.
  • Effectively articulate how NTT can add value through its products, services solutions and solution offerings.
  • Be responsible for selling complex technical solutions and/or services.
  • Feel comfortable in managing and coordinating the sales and technical team tasks in support of the sale of NTT solutions.
  • Be called on as a technical product expert to develop and present sales proposals and systems solutions, and close complex technical sales.
  • Primarily focus on selling the company’s products/services; this role is not intended to be an engineering position, but more a high-level, business focused role, with commercial and lead generation skills

What will make you a good fit for the role?

This role is perfect for you, if you:

  • Have a degree in Computer Science, Economy or related field
  • Have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a solution selling environment.
  • Have at least 5 years’ experience positioning/selling Cyber Security solutions into large multi- and international customers in Switzerland.
  • Have vendors Certification in Sales and/or Design is a plus
  • Are able to listen, analyse, persuade, and influence Technical and Management stakeholders to move to the Cloud transformation journey and Modernize the Network Infrastructure
  • Use professional concepts and company objectives to solve complex issues in creative ways
  • Network with others outside the own area of expertise (Sourcing, Modern Collaboration, Cloud & Networking)
  • Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to obtain results
  • Have a proactive approach to detect and understand customers’ needs
  • Are able to define a methodology and strategy to generate new business (cross-sell, upsell, and lead generation)
  • Have a strong understanding of the Swiss ICT landscape and customer business environment to identify opportunities
  • Are Service oriented and customer satisfaction focused
  • Are able to cope in a fast-changing environment and think innovatively
  • Are a self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as a strong team player
  • Are resilient and flexible
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to articulate clearly and effectively NTT’s business value
  • Have full professional proficiency in French and English, German or Swiss German is a plus
