Use your Field Sales skills to help sustain our expansion, with JWI and Allmet grain driers, the established specialist in bulk materials handling and agricultural engineering.

JWI and Allmet grain driers provides a complete service across all aspects of grain drying, grain handling and grain storage.  We have a large range of market leading products and brands including Westrup, Tornum, Allmet continuous flow grain driers. JWI have a fully-equipped fabrication workshop and our own installation teams and technical department to back up our product sales. This allows us to supply grain drying systems tailored to suit a whole range of grain drying needs.

Expansion is driving the need to recruit to this Sales Manager role, which will report to our Directors.  Responsible for the development of new business opportunities to pre-agreed financial targets for the supply of grain cleaning equipment, grain driers, handling equipment and silos.  Your prime targets will include Co-operatives and merchants, and industrial clients ranging from breweries and distilleries to seed processors, in addition to developing relationships with the agricultural dealer trade to develop leads. 

Further accountabilities will include:

• site measurement
• preparing quotations and closing sale
• customer after-care.
• Product training for customers

You must already have a proven track record in field sales, with knowledge of mechanical engineering, grain drying, bulk materials handling equipment and/or storage proving a distinct advantage.  You’re strong on managing your own appointments and time and your high degree of self-motivation will enable you to achieve your targets through both the development of a contact base and maintaining positive relationships with end-user clients.  Your additional attributes include:

• a strong focus on customer service
• first-class, all-round communication skills
• ideally, some experience of CAD.

Salary negotiable depending on experience, + bonus & benefits including mobile & company car
