Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Support port Account Managers with inbound calls, RFP leads, building sales contracts, and sales prospecting.
- Assist the Director of Sales with reporting and team incentive tracking.
- Help coordinate between the Sales and Events teams regarding cruise execution, including but not limited to contacting third-party vendors to ensure smooth cruising.
- Assist the Sales and Marketing teams with promoted mailings.
- Participate in additional learning opportunities and intern meetings as required
- Successful completion of required Wheelhouse University courses
- Complete all tasks related to an internship project as determined by your sales leader
- Additional job duties assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
- Available to work the assigned season
- Energetic and enthusiastic personality is essential
- Must be able to convey written and verbal information effectively to guests and coworkers.
- Must possess a service orientation – actively looking for ways to help others.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Ability to work for extended periods without sitting.
- Availability to work weekends and some holidays.
- Per maritime law, must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident*.
- Self-starter, capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly efficient team player, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
- Be process and quality-oriented, with sharp attention to detail.
- Have excellent presentation skills.
- Dependent on additional duties assigned, be able to lift furniture or other heavy items up and downstairs.
