The Sales Executive in our Tax & Accounting Professionals Large client segment is responsible for retaining and growing their existing account base and acquiring new accounts within their geographic area of responsibility. The SE has the ability to develop trust, demonstrate their credibility with all account stakeholders through their knowledge of Thomson Reuters’ products, and services and acquired knowledge of the tax and accounting industry. He/she will tailor the client presentations to the unique needs of the individual account and articulates their proposals through ROI justification to shorten the sales cycle.

About The Role

In this opportunity as a Sales Executive, you will:

  • Consult with customers to understand their needs, growth goals and partner with them to identify opportunities to meet/exceed customer needs and provide the right solutions to address those needs, improve operations and grow revenue.
  • Attain sales and renewal targets and quotas on a monthly basis
  • Demonstrate the use of Tax & Accounting products to the customer
  • Obtain and provide territory information regarding market intelligence and penetration
  • Confer with and assist in customer-related issues as needed to maintain good customer relations
  • Complete weekly sales performance reports and completes all CRM reporting in a timely and accurate manner
  • Drives strategic initiatives supported by assigned account team consisting of Sales Development Representative, Account Development Representative and Solutions Consultants to drive growth in assigned territory
  • Leverage sales automation tools and data insights to engage prospects and expedite sales cycles (such as utilizing Flash/EMS/Salesforce)
  • Attend sales meetings and conventions as required

About You

You’re a fit for the role if you have/are:

  • Minimum 5 years’ successful sales experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Proven/consistent track record of quota attainment
  • Software as a Service Sales (SAAS) experience a plus
  • Working knowledge of sales concepts, methods and techniques
  • Excellent communication skills & presentation skills to maximize phone and virtual client meetings/presentations
  • Strong prospecting and closing skills
  • Ability to sell Ultratax new, and cross sell/upsell to current client base
  • Strong time management and organization skills
  • Ambitious self-starter with high energy and motivation
  • Highly proficient in MS Office suite, utilizing a CRM (such as Salesforce preferred) and overall technical aptitude
  • Continuous learner, flexible and open-minded, positive attitude
  • High level of integrity and understanding of sales ethics
  • Willingness to travel
