A Day in the Life

Reporting to the Sales Excellence Associate Manager in Commercial Excellence (ComEx), the Sales Excellence Specialist will provide Medtronic Korea’s commercials with structured and customer-focused services over the business flow and enhancement projects by working closely with local and regional stakeholders, to ensure commercials are kept up to date allowing the overall successful running of business by strategic partnering.

This is an exciting opportunity to expand your project management and analytic skills in a commercial environment within the medical devices sector. Work closely with a diverse, talented, and highly successful ComEx Team in Korea.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Enablement

  • Build the master data and governance of master data and sales structures
  • Create dashboard to understand the total status of each data

Sales Force Effectiveness

  • Understand sales force architecture and be the champion to implement SFDC
  • Develop KPIs to evaluate sales force effectiveness based on commercial understanding
  • Create dashboard of in-depth analysis and partner with project team
  • Continue to conduct various analysis of markets, competitors, products and customers by segmentation etc.

Data Analytics

  • Enhance and automate of analytics of Commercial Excellence
  • Takes other duties as directed
  • Proceeds field inventory management process such as cycle count and UBD monitoring with sales forces regularly

Must-Have

  • Completed Bachelor’s degree in any qualifications
  • 5 – 7 years of relevant business operations or sales operations function experience in the medical industry
  • Good understanding of sales performance/commercial environment: CRM platform implementations and operations Sales Force structuring and profitability modeling
  • MS Office proficiency (Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint)
  • Good interpersonal skills, with effective written and verbal communication skills in Korean and English

Nice to Haves

  • Graduated with business management, IT or medical/biomedical
  • Industry experience (medical devices or pharmaceutical)
  • Advance level in MS Excel
  • Experience in PowerBI / Tableau
  • Project leading experience
