SALES and marketing consultant (6 months)

Our multidisciplinary team combines technical expertise with deep understanding of the humanitarian ecosystem. Over the past decade, we have contributed to more than 40 humanitarian field missions and partnered with organizations like the World Health Organization, the International Labor Organization, and the Red Cross to develop information management systems, data visualization tools, and digital solutions that drive impact.

ABOUT THE JOB
Based on its Sales and Marketing strategy, the consultant is expected to run the Sales and Marketing 6 months campaign. We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales consultant to join our team at Relief Applications. In this role, you will be instrumental in executing marketing and sales strategies that increase visibility, generate leads, and meet revenue goals for our innovative products and services, particularly our Oort and WMS platforms as well as our Data and Information services.
Key Responsibilities for the 6 months Sales and marketing campaign:
● Sales: Drive sales through quotas, building relationships, and demonstrating a deep understanding of our value proposition.
● Marketing Strategy Implementation: Implement comprehensive marketing plans and branding strategies. Design and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns on schedule, including social media management, email marketing, and paid advertising.

● Product Demos & Presentations: Conduct demos of our tools and solutions, particularly those built on the Oort platform, to potential clients at conferences, webinars, and one-on-one meetings. Update with the designers visually appealing PowerPoint presentations and other sales/marketing materials.

● CRM Management: Assist in building and maintaining our CRM system, ensuring it is effectively used to track leads, manage client relationships, and optimize sales processes.

● Content Creation & Social Media: Work with the team to ensure that our messaging is consistent, engaging, and aligned with our overall marketing strategy.

● Proposal Writing & Funding Opportunities: Participate in proposal writing for new projects and seek out new funding opportunities. Collaborate with different departments to ensure that marketing strategies support business development goals.

● Market Research & Analysis: Conduct regular market research and analyze trends, data, and pricing to optimize marketing and sales efforts. Monitor and report on progress and metrics to continuously improve performance.

● Collaboration & Teamwork: Work closely with different departments to integrate marketing strategies into their daily work and contribute to team discussions and initiatives.

● Event Attendance: Attend trade shows, conferences, and client meetings as needed to represent Relief Applications and showcase our solutions.

PROFILE REQUESTED

● Education: Master’s degree in Sales, Public Relations, Marketing, Business, or a related field.

● Experience: At least 5 years of experience in marketing and sales, with a proven track record in
developing and executing successful strategies.

● Genuine interest in the humanitarian sector and the role of technology in driving positive change.

● Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills; Spanish and French are
desired but not essential.

● Proficiency in MS Office, design tools, and marketing software (e.g., MailChimp, SEO tools, LinkedIn,
Google Ads).

● Experience in social media management, email marketing, and CRM systems.

● Ability to translate technical concepts into marketing presentations and communications.

Applicants should be located within the EU to facilitate collaboration with our team and clients as well as possible travels. However as this position is fully remote, we encourage you to work from anywhere in the EU.
Salary and Benefits
Consultant contracts: base fee of 24k/year + performance-based incentives up to 150% of the base fee
