We are looking for a Safety, Security and Environment Manager to lead safety sustainability and security initiatives across our Nestlé Research sites. Your main objective will be to ensure that our safety, sustainability and security roadmap is defined and reviewed on a regular basis applying best practices. Required actions need to be validated, implemented, tracked, and effectively communicated while securing compliance to local laws and Nestlé specific requirements.

A Day in the Life of a Safety, Security and Environment Manager
- Lead, coach and empower the team of safety, environment and security specialists, promoting an entrepreneurial mindset and inclusive culture, driving performance management and supporting career development
- Ensure compliance with external regulations and internal requirements related to safety, environment and security by maintaining relevant procedures, and protocols
- Instill a strong culture of safety, environmental sustainability and security, aiming for zero injuries and zero waste
- Assure that required trainings, audits and certifications are performed
- Coordinate incident and crisis management, ensure internal reporting and implementation of necessary countermeasures
- Enhance safety, environmental sustainability and security awareness across Nestlé Research sites
- Manage budget for Capex and Opex while supporting Nestlé Research goals
- Foster constructive dialogue with stakeholders, including local teams, unions, communities, authorities, and Nestlé Functions
What Will Make You Successful
- Ideally certified as a CFST safety officer or engineer
- Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in at least 2 different companies
- Previous work experience in an operational environment of an FMCG company, such as R&D site or factory
- Proven track record of driving behavioral change within a unit or organization and experience in coaching individuals and teams in various environments
- Proficient in leading audits
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate issues, propose improvements to current practices, and meet financial targets
- Capacity to analyze complex problems and identify root causes
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Exceptional organization and delegation skills, coupled with the capability to thrive under pressure and consistently deliver results
- Fluent in both French and English
