Safety Intern

POSITION TYPE: Full-Time/Part-Time, Hourly

LOCATION: Auburn, WA

Responsibilities

• Assists with various projects including Safety, Risk management, and Fleet management
• Updates, organizes, and posts Safety training forms and files at locations.
• Track and update maintenance of vehicles
• Set up and maintain employee driving records
• Run, analyze, and distribute reports to managers on a regular basis
• Coordinate GPS installs
• Performs general office duties such as answering calls and emails, making copes, filing etc.
• Abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies and ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
• Other duties maybe assigned

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Currently enrolled and taking classes towards a Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis or concentration in Occupational Health and Safety or Construction management
• MS Office applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Valid WA Driver’s License
