Our International Finance and Services department is currently recruiting for the position of a Roving Finance and Compliance Manager. The Roving Finance and Compliance Manager will be responsible to:
- Ensure effective financial management, reporting, internal control and risk management is managed within Islamic Relief country offices.
- Review finance and operations KPIs, and monitor the performance of each Country Office in line with their service level agreement and objectives.
- Review financial controls and identify gaps in the implementations of financial guidelines in the country offices with reporting to stakeholders and recommendations for improvement
The successful candidate must have or be:
- Good management and financial accounting experience, including a pro-active approach to financial management, budget monitoring, reporting etc.
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ICAEW/ICMA) or equivalent with experience.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial matters to non-financial managers. · Demonstrable ability to think strategically and highlight areas of future concern and risk
- Ability to manage and supervise finance and non-finance staff in multiple and remote locations.
- Experience of conforming with external donor and statutory compliance requirement
- High degree of computer literacy with experience of working in ERP environment
