Job Summary & Responsibilities

We are looking for a motivated student in their gap year or final year for their Master’s or MBA studies to join our group and focus on arranging leveraged loans to fund LBO, acquisitions, recapitalization and refinancing transactions. Our small entrepreneurial team will allow the intern to develop a comprehensive understanding of, and expertise in, all topics related to leverage financing structures.

As an intern with Rosedge Capital, your main responsibilities will be linked to:
Financial analysis: learn about our clients – read the due diligence materials, the investment memos, analyse financial statements and the market outlook and use the information in Q&A process with lenders
Financial modelling: build detailed, fully-integrated three-statement financial models to analyse the impact of alternative capital structures on cash flows, covenants and investor rates of return
Drafting transaction-related documents: draft presentations and other communications with clients and lenders
Legal documentation: you will learn about and support the drafting of credit agreements
Business development: research potential clients and reach out proactively to establish relationships and propose Rosedge’s services
Any other support required to assist in pitching or closing arrangements

Qualifications

You are the ideal candidate if you want to participate in building a strong company and are/have:
In the gap year or final year of Master’s or MBA in a well-known and reputable institution
Previous experience in the finance industry
Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
Excellent mathematical, writing and communication skills
Entrepreneurial and self-starter
Hard working (efficient work, no long hours)
Passionate about the finance environment and eager to learn
Eager to develop strong relationships with CFOs in various companies and/or PE funds (our key clients)
Humble character
Motivated by opportunities to learn, focused on self-growth
Good sense of humour is desirable
Speak English and German and/or French fluently (European languages are a plus)
