Who we are:
Roche Glycart AG, a 100 % affiliate of Roche Pharmaceuticals, is active in the research, development and commercialization of new potent antibody-based products for the treatment of cancer and autoimmune disease. We offer a stimulating and truly international environment. Roche Glycart AG is located in Schlieren/Zurich.
The position:
As an Intern in the Downstream processing group you will become part of a young and highly motivated team of 7 people dedicated to the purification and biochemical characterization of antibodies and other recombinant proteins. You will have the opportunity to work with the latest state of the art laboratory and analytical equipment as well as with new technologies.
Your tasks include:
Purifications of antibodies and recombinant proteins with different techniques for in vitro and in vivo use
Quality control by biochemical analyses of the produced proteins
Involvement in the continuous improvement of the processes
Who you are:
You are currently studying or recently graduated (no more than 12 months ago) in a degree program
A hardworking and scientifically interested person who enjoys teamwork and has a strong ability to learn new techniques
Preferably a biology/biotechnology/biochemistry student with practical experience with Äkta and Unicorn software
Excellent interpersonal skills and a pro-active knowledge sharing
Fluent in English

The duration of this internship is 6 months with a working percentage of 100%. The planned start is mid September 2022 or upon availability. However, please clearly indicate your desired start date in your motivation letter.
