We continue to grow and today are looking for a committed, talented, star to join our team as our Sales Coordinator.
Position Summary/Objective:
The Sales Coordinator (the “Position”) is responsible for a variety of tasks in support of sales and marketing for the US Commercial team. This is a full-time role, based out of the Chicago office.
Primary Responsibilities:Demonstrate and uphold Riverside’s core values
Owns execution of New Customer Set-Up within Riverside for the US BusinessInitiates customer setup and customer pricing in SAP
Complete listing forms and gather data (Insurance forms, Images, etc.) for potential new business (i.e. – New Customer Set-up), Buyer meeting paperwork (Account setup paperwork)
Assists with customer EDI & logistics set-up needs as well as other ad hoc requests related to customer set-up
Assist with Maintenance / Management of Product Information in Online Platforms, as requested by Sales Reps and Inside Sales Manager (i.e. – GS1, IX-ONE, 1WorldSync)
Information management of key customer portals, such as Walmart, Target, CVS, etc.
Assists with new product set-up with syndication sources (i.e. SPINs, Nielsen, IRI)
Own the sales sample distribution process for the team, including ensuring customer specific requests, ad hoc and special projects are handled with speed & efficiency
Assists with management of Life Preserver Sharepoint site, ensuring product spec, images, certifications and other related details are kept up to date
Manages office space upkeep, storage space and other related office expenses
Assists with event / meeting needs for the US Commercial team, ie catering, off-site locations needs, etc.
Assists with coordination of US Trade Shows and event marketing as needed
Keeps the work atmosphere FUN by keeping it light and welcoming.

Reporting Relationships
This position reports to the Director of Sales Planning & Strategy
Education & Qualifications:Post secondary education in a related field (or equivalent education and experience)
1 -2 years’ related work experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Skills & Abilities:High energy, ADAPTABLE, self-starter, able to change priorities as situations change.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Independent problem solver with good judgement
Strong ability to work under pressure to meet tight timelines.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, professional telephone manner
TEAM player with a positive attitude
Strong understanding of business processes, customer service and marketing an asset.
Excellent planning, organizing, multitasking and time management skills.
Good computer skills, Intermediate level Microsoft Office 2010 Word, Excel, and Outlook
